Project information
Craft is a self-published, photographed, designed, and hand-sewn publication. I spent six weeks connecting with creatives and interviewing them about their creative process by asking them to consider the philosophy behind their craft. I photographed each person in their workspace, and highlighted a few of the most important pieces they have created. This is a documentation of a variety of different mediums, pieces, and people.
Working with one’s hands is a big part of being human. Creating is a big part of being human. Talking to other people about what they love is a big part of being human. Craft is all of these things.
